The World of Lisacraft

No time to do up a recording, so I’m going with just a standard blog entry.

We’re heading into summer, and I’m simply not going to have the time to do the research each podcast deserves, let alone the time to do them. Once school starts in the fall, both of my kids will be in school all day, which will give me enough time during the day to work on the podcast again.

That said, work is not going to stop on WoL. The poll to the right shows the overwhelming majority of you want to see a series where I create a world from scratch. I’m going to be doing that, but it’s going to be more than simply a podcast about it. Each “chapter” will be available in pdf format, and the entire thing will be available for purchase in hard copy. I haven’t decided when it’ll be available, but it’ll be when the podcast of the last chapter is released into the wild, or at some point after that.

I’ve been thinking about doing this for quite a while, and decided that this summer I’ll actually put fingers to keyboard and do it. Just to make things clear now, I’m not going to be explaining how to use the various programs I’ll be using. The podcast and book will be just about the world creation, not how to make the props.

So, that’s what the future holds for the podcast. Please let me know in the comments what you think and what you’d like to see covered. Also, spread the word to your friends about what I’m doing. I’d love to hear from as many of you as possible. Your input is important to me!
